Laser science predates the creation in the laser by itself. Albert Einstein developed the foundations for that laser and maser in 1917, by using a paper wherein he re-derived Max Planck’s regulation of radiation employing a formalism based on likelihood coefficients (Einstein coefficients) to the absorption, spontaneous emission, and stimulated e
